Our Story

Our culture is changing. Fewer people want to work... or so it seems. And fewer leaders have been taught to lead. The old ways of mentor/apprentice are gone. We need some innovative new solutions to these challenges.

We exist to help leaders and small business owners adapt to the challenges of our day.

"You cannot give away what you don't posses." This was once our reality. We did not know how to multiply the genius that was within us. And then we learned. The tools that we use with leaders were first used to transform us into self-aware, others-aware leaders who know how to develop others.

Our greatest passion is that every leader and every small business owner would have the life-altering experience of learning what it's like to be on the other side of themselves. To see clearly, so that they can lead boldly. "To possess magic, so that they can give it away."

We exist to walk alongside small business owners, because no one should have to go at it alone!

About Ben

Ben and his wife, Allison, live in Columbia, South Carolina, with their three children, three dogs, and nine chickens. Ben - a two-time graduate of Columbia International University - loves investing in the local community that has been his home since 2002.

He moved here to finish an undergraduate degree, and eventually met Allison - an alumnus of Columbia College and The University of South Carolina (where she now teaches in the Darla Moore School of Business).

A work-related move took him to Pennsylvania for a five-year stretch, but South Carolina beckoned them home in 2016. He's been building businesses and organizations in the Greater Columbia area ever since.

When he's not hanging out with another small business owner or organizational leader, you can find him building furniture, playing disc golf, or watching "Daddy movies" with his kids.

Ben is a Certified GiANT Guide, a Certified Working Genius Facilitator, and holds a Masters of Divinity in Academic Ministries
